Tattoo Art Forms

In recent years I have come to appreciate the wide variety of tattoos that pet owners have had placed on their bodies.  Frequently individuals will choose to have a pet's image tattooed on themselves.  The best ones are well thought out and created after careful selection of a talented tattoo artist.  On a recent trip to Maine I visited the Mad Hatter Tattoo Convention and saw the past 2 year's winners in the personal tattoo category.  Both individuals had animal tattoos.  Much care and artistry went into their creation.  This old art form is new again and speaks to our long standing connection with animals.  I hope many of you will be able to visit with some of the talented tattoo artists that will be here on tuesday December 21th between 4-8 pm.  Looking for ward to seeing you then.
